Edgy's Homes
Edgy was drawn to both of his homes due to their intrinsic land energy. His relationship with Uplands grew from his early passion for horse racing, after reading ‘Winter’s Tale, a Study of a Stable’ by Ivor Herbert as a child. The book draws on the rhythms of life over a year at the yard under champion trainer Fred Winter during the height of his success. Since purchasing Uplands House in 2010, he has discovered it stands on the site of an ancient beacon tree. The stone circle above an ancient spring in the garden, meanwhile has three powerful energy lines crossing through its centre. The interiors and the garden are being designed to reflect his evolving respect for ecological sensitivity embracing a harmonious relationship with nature.
He was first introduced to the unique energy of Golborne Road when his acupuncturist moved into the street. Soon after he was drawn to purchasing the apartment and moved there after retiring from training. For a number of years, he ran the Golborne Gallery next door as a space for contemporary artists.
Both Egerton properties are embodiments of Edgy’s interests and creative vision, showcasing his deep-seated passion for the arts, interior and garden design which is an ongoing process of evolution.
